LdeK Consulting successfully organized the annual NAST Conference, hosted by the NAST Executive, from 30 June to 3 July 2025 in Bloemfontein. This conference were supported financially by ETDP Seta and the provinces and individual schools SGB’s. All provinces were represented except Kwa Zulu Natal were not at the conference represented.
The theme of the conference was "Innovating Technical Education for a Changing World."

The conference offered valuable opportunities for delegates to participate in panel discussions, where important topics related to the technical school environment were addressed. These sessions resulted in meaningful outcomes and the sharing of relevant information.
Breakaway sessions were held one afternoon for the nine specialized technical subjects as well as the three supportive subjects. These sessions allowed attendees to engage in focused discussions on subject-specific matters and to provide feedback on issues impacting technical education.

A highlight of the conference was the gala dinner held on Wednesday evening at the BON Hotel Central, Bloemfontein. Delegates were entertained by a live performance from the band Ginger Snap, led by GP van Rheede van Oudtshoorn of Coppertop Consulting.
The final day featured a productive Annual NAST Meeting, where members discussed key matters for future collaboration with the DBE and other stakeholders.
The conference concluded on a high note with a motivational address by GP van Rheede van Oudtshoorn, who also served as a presenter and guest speaker.
Overall, the 2025 NAST Conference was a highly positive and impact experience for all delegates. LdeK Consulting received widespread praise for the excellent organization and for achieving the goals and purpose as set out by NAST (National Association for Schools of Technology).
